About Us

Our Story

Rana's Hope Advocates is more than an organization; it's a movement founded by Rana LeAnn Courchaine, a passionate advocate with lived experiences in mental health, disability, and entrepreneurship. Our journey began with a vision to create a safe, empowering space for marginalized individuals in Whatcom County, Washington.

Our Mission

We aim to provide comprehensive support and advocacy for individuals facing systemic barriers. By leveraging peer support and community engagement, we strive to foster resilience, hope, and positive change.

Our Vision

Breaking Barriers and Building Futures

We aspire to dismantle the barriers that hold back our marginalized neighbors. We understand that the effects of poverty and trauma are layered and complex, often exacerbated by systemic issues. Our approach is holistic; we strive to address both educational and personal development needs. By fostering a community of support and understanding, we aim to create spaces where individuals feel safe to express themselves and pursue their goals. Our programs are designed to not only teach essential skills but also to inspire hope, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Through our classes, we are nurturing future leaders who can advocate for themselves and their communities, ultimately changing the narrative surrounding marginalized populations.
